About us

Since 2017, our young family is living on a small acreage in the Cowichan Valley. Our children’s ages range from 6 to 12, so there is always something going on here!
To make our dream of having a multipurpose venue come true, we started hosting volunteers this year. Currently, we are enjoying the summer months eating from our garden, swimming in our pool, the rivers and ocean nearby and hiking, as we work and build our little heaven on earth. That is what we need your helping hands for! We love sharing and living in community while learning and benefiting from each other.

Our vision

Our official long-term goal is to transform a former barn into a vibrant multipurpose venue where weddings, retreats or other private events can be hold.

However, the true aim extends far beyond that/lies on the way there: To create an appreciative community with people from all over the world. We believe that working together for a shared purpose creates a connection that everyone can benefit from. Therefore, we aim for creating a space where everyone can express themselves in various manners and contribute their unique skills, while having the flexibility to explore the beautiful Vancouver Island.

Together, we forge unforgettable moments, wholeheartedly embracing the spirit of togetherness and leaving an indelible mark on our enchanting project.

Our story

To transfer an old barn into a nice venue is for sure not a project for a week. We already spent years developing our future at our property.
We bought the property in 2017 from a man called Ray Woollam, a famous author of several self-help books.

Since that day, we are constantly developing and making progress in renovating and renewing.
