My 4-week farm stay was an amazing experience! The family was welcoming, and I loved the weekend activities. The kids were friendly, and living with six other workawayers taught me valuable lessons. Our property is a place where life knows no bounds and adventure awaits at every turn. You will for sure get enough space to relax and explore the island!
Our newly renovated barn boasts two fully equipped suites, each coming complete with a kitchen and bathroom, and a shared laundry area. There is a spacious suite with a double and a single room, offering private escape for solo travelers. The other suite contains a dining and living/tv room as well as six sets of bunk beds with their own stores and blackout curtains, ensuring you have enough private space. We would like to ensure your stay is as comfortable as it can be.
Outside, you can relax in the hammocks nestled among the trees. Our large pool beckons you to take a refreshing dip on warm summer days.
Looking for some fun and relaxation indoors? Our 3000 square feet recreation room is an absolute delight! It features a large TV and lounging area, a fully equipped gym to keep you active, a pool table and shuffleboard for friendly competitions, and a stage adorned with musical instruments for impromptu jam sessions. If that’s not enough, we even have an arcade, aerial skills equipment, and a massive 20-person dining table where you can gather for shared meals and stories.
In and around our property, we are currently planning and building various spaces, such as trails for walking and biking and many other things.
We live in paradise surrounded by nature. There is so much to explore in the countryside and city!
Victoria is just a short drive away, reachable within one hour by car. You can venture into the city to experience its vibrant restaurants, nightlife, and even go whale watching, immersing yourself in the coastal charm.
If you’re looking for more outdoor adventures, the Cowichan River offers a thrill with cliff jumping and swimming in its crystal-clear waters. Additionally, we own a speed boat at Cowichan Lake, perfect for weekend fun and adventures on the water, such as tubing or surfing!
You can literally be at the ocean, river and lake all in the same afternoon.
